WOW

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all my mates that came on my Hen do and made it such a fun and memorable weekend.

I got to play with a log fire, make coctails, be silly, get dressed up, chat and guess who dunnit (sorry Lou).

But i have to say my favourite bit was the hovercrafting - how much fun can you have? and credit where credit is due, even though she beat me at pool, I didn’t hold it against her, Mum went round the track TWICE. Needless to say I went round a few more times, and probably enjoyed it a bit more but i’m well impressed by Mum, she gave it a go.

I would love to have another go on a day that maybe it wasn’t so cold and wet, but then maybe that was half the fun! I may have hit a few cones but think I didn’t do too badly, considering some managed to ground it!! while others ignored the course or took out loads of cones, but i dare say they still had fun as well.

Mind you the costumes in the evening are worth a mention as well, ranging from kaftans to pink/purple wigs and furry wasitcoats to fluffy aprons, but the shock of the evening was not finding out the murderer, but that you can currently buy her dress in primark!!

well on that revalation i shall leave you to it.

Peace out man!

Woo Hoo

Yeahy,

We had snow on Tuesday - an inch or so, and it was still there wednessday mroning and some fo it lasted to wednessday night. That makes me happy.

And i’m all excited it’s my Hen party this weekend. It should be fun seeing my mates all in teh same place, plus hovercrafting sounds like fun, all I have to do now is pack a bag! hmm sooner said than done.

Anyway lifes grand with me, things are coming on well for the wedding and we’ve jsut celebrated our first birthday at work.

The dangers of Ebay

Ooops,

I’m waiting for James to get home from scouts and I’m wondering what he’ll say about the fact I just bought loads of stuff on ebay.

It’s addictive, i just bought 2 pairs of trousers, two tops, a dress and some stickers all for well under £15, and it onlyy took me about 5 mins. Now just waiting to see if I win those shoes!!

Only trouble is - now i want to buy more!!

Please sponsor us

Please please please, some mad fool has decided I need more exercise, and so with the weather being so nice and all we (Rachel & I) decided to do a sponsored ‘Fun Run’ at wobbern abbey. (that doesn’t mean I’m actually going to run it though - speed walk maybe)

hmmmmmm, maybe not such a good idea, anyway here’s the link so please go sponsor us for a good cause.

I’m a world record holder

No really - I took part in a world record attempt for the most people wine tasting at the same time.

Woo hoo, now what next . . . .

Yeahy

First draft done -

Not long now and I’ll be a proper accountant.

Off home for the weekend flower shopping, just trying to tear myself away from Delilah who has cleverly worked out how to climb up a hanging wooden stick to get the food at the top. It’s soo funny, and cute.

aaahhhhhhhhhhhh

Onwards and Upwards

What with realising the weddings only 6 months off, getting a new hamster and actually loosing a couple of punds I’ve somehow managed to give myself the veritable kick up the back side.

I have actually manged to start writting up my extended CV which I need to do in order to get qualified. I’ve started going into work by 8, sitting in the coffe shop and treating myself - one coffee a morning is worth getting this done, and it get’s me going for a day at work. So if you see me or are up at that silly hour give me a smile and a wave to keep me on my way!

I’m also thinking of a two pronged attack, doing a bit of recent stuff, then some of the oldest stuff (which you would think is the most difficult) and meet somewhere in the middle.

Think positive thoughts and happy orangeness (supposed to be a good motivational colour I think!)

Hmm

So at half past four today the computer went fut, as did everyone else’s and the lights. Me thinks something went wrong. However as it’s only the top floor east and second floor (north east) that is effected they aren’t re-booting the power until saturday.

So for tommorow i’m getting my torch out, doing some filing and then seeing if I can find a free computer somewhere!!

I suppose we should have seen it coming, the lights did flicker a lot during the day.

Not a bad night

Seens as James is up in his motherland I’ve had a nice relaxing evening, curled up under the duvet with CSI and Sex and the City, pot noodle in one hand and a glass of wine in the other.

I’ve tried to persuade him to stay longer, but for some reason he thinks I miss him !!
