Ok so it’s taken a couple of days to tell you, but now my bum has stopped aching and I’m not feeling sea sick in bed, basically we beat the other two Argos teams – yeah – so nick had to pay up, though being in the accounting frame of mind a spreadsheet was calculated to show just why in fact they did win! No chance.
We came 19th overall out of 53 teams, but even better than that we won the best dressed competition. So we have a funky little dragon trophy in our office now, I thinks we need a cabinet, we already have a pancake trophy, a golf one and some other random one, oh yeah and the Christmas decorations one!

This is the biggie, now this is just my opinion, and no offence is meant to anyone.
Unfortunately I have to admit I’ve been watching Big Brother, not in a big way, but I know what’s going on, and I have to admit I’m appalled at the way they’ve handled the recent situation.
Ok, maybe it’s not a nice word, but any word can be nasty or nice depending on how you use it. If you watched the programme you could see that it wasn’t said offensively and that no insult was meant by it. I genuinely believe she is used to saying it and it just slipped out. If it were a black person saying it, would it have had the same reaction? No.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that I believe more problems will arise from they way they handled it. Instead of dealing with the issue, they’ve turned their back and washed their hands of it. By evicting Emily it’s like saying we don’t’ have to deal with it in the real world, we can just tell on people, and the problems dealt with. Life’s not like that, if we have a problem you can’t just run away from it, you have to face it head on.
I think they should have given her punishment for saying the ‘N’ word, tasks that show why it is an offensive term. Channel 4 could have used this to educate or nation, instead they’ve just turned round and said ‘it’s wrong because I say it is’.
Right, rant over let’s get back to it.
Please take this on how it is meant – something to think about

Ok, this is a quick one; I have for some unknown reason volunteered at work. We are doing a dragon boat race at the end of June. It came about by one manager betting another £100 that their team could beat any group rivals. So we took up the challenge.
We had a practice on Wednesday, and it didn’t seem to go to bad. We managed to have good timing, which apparently is the key. So who knows we may do well. But if not – it’s all in a good cause, and we’ll have a bit of fun on the way.

It’s going to be a bit like waiting for a bus today, Not 1, not 2 but 3 posts. Typical I can’t think of anything to say then 3 things come along at once.
So let’s start with the amusing one, I had to laugh this morning when I saw this so I wanted to share it with you. Let’s just say you won’t be surprised that it’s a news article about an event in the good old USA. (Only in America could this happen)
Some poor bloke got his wheelchair stuck on the front of a lorry and went for a 50mph ride down the freeway. No honestly, just lucky he had a seatbelt eh?
If you want to see the full report, go here - http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/em/fr/-/1/hi/world/americas/6732003.stm
So remember kids, Always wear a seatbelt.
