How rubbish am I??
Ok, let’s be honest, I’ve had this blog for coming up to a month now and haven’t written anything, yes I can make excuses about being busy and visiting places, but lets be honest if I’d wanted to I could have made time.
And so it came, in my slightly hung-over/still drunken from the night before state of yesterday, I decided to play safe and not do any complicated work for risk of putting millions in the wrong place, I thought I’d write my first entry. The problem was I couldn’t remember my Login let alone my password - at which point I thought ‘I really need to start blogging’.
So now my bro has kindly reminded me (speedy service – ta), I suppose I should update you all. Now what was I going to say yesterday? Well I guess you’ve probably guessed it was a works Christmas do on Wednesday night. Needless to say it was rather an amusing affair, 12 bottles of wine between 20 and somehow Jocelyn and I manage at least two and a half (while at the table) – my boss and Rachel did an equally impressive stunt with the red wine.
Not too many drunken faux pas given all the alcohol flying about, Jocelyn fell asleep on the floor and Clair fell of her seat, but other than that we were all well behaved, slightly tipsy and talking rubbish mostly, but well behaved!
The most amusing point came when we got home, for some reason I decided to check my email, I opened up a new one from a friend who’s travelling to see lots of pictures, half way down there she was with Toadie and Paul Robinson from Neighbours – I went to bed slightly bemused, I hadn’t actually read the email that explained that she went to a Neighbours night. Still it amused me in my drunken state.
Well I suppose I better attempt to do some work today, clear my emails anyway. Now I know how easy this is I hope to write more often.
