So what is 2010 gonna bring? Well if the first month is anything to go by it should be another good one. (How do you top a wedding? With a re-location of course)
1) After spending 4 months apart from my new Hubbie I got a contract for 9 month maternity cover doing lots of things I need to bolster my CV hopefully aiding my hunt for permanent roles later in the year.
2) The flat’s been up for sale for less than a month and we’ve had 3 viewings already, so hopefully we’ll get a sale before to long.
So if that’s one month, what’ll happen in the next 11? Permanent job? New House (with mortgage)? A settled life (ok maybe not)?
Here’s to the future . . . .

Went up to the in-laws for the weekend and never one to miss an opportunity thought it’d be a good time to do some shopping and top up my store of suits. First stop Hair dressers, second shop coffee shop!
After a slow start in the first shop I tried on 4 suits and ended up getting 3 of them, so with that out of the way it was time for some shoe shopping! Oh and we got some Christmas decorations and treats for Delilah along the way. Home in time for Tea and Strictly and then a nice relaxing Sunday.
Early night for me ready to tackle the week ahead.

Buy 2 flat packs so you don’t argue over it! Now I know that sounds ridiculous but we both like doing flat packs and have been known to ‘fight’ over who gets the screwdriver!
So now when buying flat packs we buy two so we can each do one!! I let James do his first, so he gets things wrong and mine is relatively easy!! We now have two nice drawer/filing units for the side of the sofa, so we can put things away rather than just dump them.
Not sure how we’ll do it when we get something we only need one of.

I’m still settleing down after the wedding and honeymoon.
What a fab time - thanks to everyone who came or sent their wishes I certainly had a brilliant time. We had some of the photos back on friday and they do bring up a few questions.
It seems that more than one table had a bit of fun with the camera but i’m not sure if the winner is the fingermouse impressions or the partner swapping!!
ho hum, back to more boring things.

We had a little upset the other morning, I arose early to try to get into work and get a bit ahead of myself, as I wandered into the front room I noticed one of Delilah’s tubes was disconected - and she was no-where to be seen.
Now I know we have a small flat, but we have lot’s of stuff in it. She could have been hiding anywhere. Bits of furniture went flying, paperwok moved, i even found that chirstmas wrapping paper. I wandered around with a crisp packet - she normally comes out for this as she thinks it’s food, but to no avail.
I went off to work in a not too happy mood, only to received a delightful call from James 15 mins later - I’ve found her. Where? Behind the fridge, How? with a bit of cheese! (I thought that was mice)
So anyway she’s back in her cage and looks fine, although a little more nervous than before, but i’m sure she’ll get back to her normal self.

Now I know I asked a few peolple to pray for snow but I meant for the 28th not the 2nd to the 8th!! Ok Joking over, it’s a bit white here in MK.
James tried to get into work this morning, got about 3 roundabouts and came back. I waited outside for him making a snow man but had to push him the last 40 yards as he had no grip - that’s my work out for the day!! By the time I’d finished making my snow man the snow was allready covering his tyre tracks qute well.
Anyhow off to go play again. . .

Woo hoo,
apparently we have 6 more weeks of winter on the way. Normally I wouldn’t be particularly enthusiastic, but it’s snowing outside my window, and i’m hoping it’ll snow again on the 28th!
Not long now, and not much to do either, surprisingly.

How does a month go by, so much happen and yet you feel like nothing has happened?
I bought a new car - mitsubishi colt czc2. (blue) - photo’s to follow. I’m well happy - wanted a convertable for a while and now i’m obviously having my mid-life crisis as i’ve bought one. Credit crunch - what credit crunch?!?!?!
second bit of big news - i’m now a fully fledged proper accountant. or for those of you who want proper terms - ‘Chartered Management Accountant’ yeahy. I now get to use ACMA after my name.
anyway onwards and upwards, plenty to plan, plenty of pressies to buy.
How does christmas come so fast?

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all my mates that came on my Hen do and made it such a fun and memorable weekend.
I got to play with a log fire, make coctails, be silly, get dressed up, chat and guess who dunnit (sorry Lou).
But i have to say my favourite bit was the hovercrafting - how much fun can you have? and credit where credit is due, even though she beat me at pool, I didn’t hold it against her, Mum went round the track TWICE. Needless to say I went round a few more times, and probably enjoyed it a bit more but i’m well impressed by Mum, she gave it a go.
I would love to have another go on a day that maybe it wasn’t so cold and wet, but then maybe that was half the fun! I may have hit a few cones but think I didn’t do too badly, considering some managed to ground it!! while others ignored the course or took out loads of cones, but i dare say they still had fun as well.
Mind you the costumes in the evening are worth a mention as well, ranging from kaftans to pink/purple wigs and furry wasitcoats to fluffy aprons, but the shock of the evening was not finding out the murderer, but that you can currently buy her dress in primark!!
well on that revalation i shall leave you to it.
Peace out man!
